There are two main differences in choosing Laser Liposuction versus traditional liposuction. By melting the fat with the laser and then removing the fat from the body we are able to remove dense fatty tissue and remove more fat cells as well as tighten the skin as the fat is removed and the results are much smoother. The second reason is the cost is dramatically less than typical liposuction, more affordable and sometimes up to ½ the price of typical liposuction.
In-Office Laser Assisted Liposuction is performed to remove localized deposits or “pockets” of fat cells from the body. This is a good option for patients that have dieted and exercised but still have specific areas of fat that will not go away. In-Office Liposuction is best on patients that are slightly or moderately overweight and have realistic expectations of the results that can be achieved through liposuction.
